Ten Hag's Arrival At Leverkusen Excites Tella
Ibrahim Lateef
Super Eagles Nathan Tella says he is excited with the arrival of former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to the BayArena, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
Tella told SkySports: "I can only speak for myself, but I'm quite excited for it. A new opportunity to have new chance playing for a new manager and maybe a new style of football we might not have seen. We don't know, but we're all looking forward to it. I think him as well, he can't wait wait for us to come back for pre-season and get started right away. It should be a good experience."
On Jeremie Frimpong's move to Liverpool: "He's a brilliant player. He wouldn't have been able to get the move or have that interest he's had without putting on great performances for a number of years now. He's just one of those players that gets better every game. I don't think it'll take him any time to adapt. I'm quite confident that his speed, his main asset, is going to give defenders a lot of problems and he'll be able to use it to get goals for Liverpool and to create chances as well, so it'll be great for him."
On what Frimpong is like as a teammate: "He's probably one of my favorite teammates I've had, he's just got so much energy, he's always in a good mood, he's someone you always want to see. If you're doing well he's one of the players you always want to have around you."
