Tennis: Marylove Edge Yakubu To Clinch Dala Court Trophy

Mary love Edwards proved her mettle once as she emerged as the winner of the 35th edition of the Dala Hard Court championship in Kano, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Marylove who is also the defending champions of the tournament cruised past Toyin Asogba in the semi-final with a resounding win of 6-2, 6-0.

Her win in the semi final set her up for a mouth-watering clash against Oiza Yakubu who also beat Anu Aiyegbusi in her semi-final 7-6, 6-2.

Marylove proved too difficult for Yakubu in the final as she crushed her 6-2, 6-0 to clinch the Dala court tournament for the second consecutive year.
