Three Teams Promoted, One Spot Left: NNL Super 4 Draw Set for April 24

The Nigeria National League has confirmed that the official draw for the 2025/2026 Super 4 Playoffs will take place on April 24, 2026, at the Marriott Hotel Ikeja, as the second-tier season approaches its decisive phase, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super 4 tournament is designed to determine the overall league champions and is scheduled to run from May 1 to May 8 at the Remo Stars Stadium.

Three clubs have already secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, reflecting their strong performances throughout the campaign. Doma FC, Sporting Lagos, and Inter Lagos have all booked their places among Nigeria’s elite. However, attention now turns to the final promotion slot and the race for Super 4 qualification.

In the Southern Conference, Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos have already claimed their tickets to the top flight, along with qualification for the Super 4 tournament, where they will compete for the league title.

The Northern Conference, meanwhile, remains finely poised. Ranchers Bees—popularly known as the Sadiq Umar boys—are still in contention but face mounting pressure from Jigawa Golden Stars as the race for qualification intensifies.

The 2025/2026 NNL season has been widely regarded as one of the most competitive in recent years. Improvements in officiating, enhanced media coverage, and increased investment in player welfare have contributed to a higher standard of competition. With the playoff draw just days away, anticipation is building among Nigerian football followers as the league prepares for a defining conclusion to the season.
