Tijani Babangida Begins Rehabilitation

Nigeria football legend, Tijani Babangida has been spotted rehabilitating at a training facility in Netherlands, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Babangida's former club, Ajax reportedly supported the player with a touching video emerging on social media showing the star undergoing rehabilitation at the Dutch club's facilities. Babangida, an Olympic Games gold medalist and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, was involved in a fatal accident along the Kaduna-Zaria road in Northern Nigeria in May 2024. While the accident tragically claimed the lives of his brother, Ibrahim Babangida, and his infant son, the former Super Eagles player was hospitalized alongside his wife.
