Tinubu Reiterates Commitment To Grassroots Sports Development

President Bola Tinubu has reiterated the Federal Government's commitment to grassroots sports development that will not only positively engage the youths but make them to be relevant and productive among their counterparts globally. 

The Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, gave the assurance on behalf of President Tinubu while receiving the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to the President, Adeyinka Adeboye, in his office at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday. 

The CoS assured Adeboye of President Tinubu's support for grassroots sports development which he said is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration. 

They spoke about how the development of grassroots sports in Nigeria will propel the country's sports to greater heights.

They added that the youths are very important in the development of any country that want to progress and succeed in its social, cultural and economic affairs.

Nigeria with over 200 million population has over 70 percent as youths who are into entertainment, arts and culture and most especially sports where they are making waves worldwide.
