Top Stars Retain Titles At 5th BSFN Push Championship In Lagos

The experienced quartet of Ugochukwu Dickson, Perpetual Nwanna, Khadijat Folawiyo, and Sekinat Alawode retained their titles as the Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Nigeria concluded its day PUSH Championship at the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos, last Saturday.

It was an opportunity for the Federation to rank and assess athletes who will represent Nigeria at international competitions.

Dickson beat others to emerge Brakeman champion, while Alawode equally retained her Women’s Brakeman title. Folawiyo edged others to maintain her dominance in the Women’s Skeleton title and Nwanna finished well to lead others in the Women’s Bobsled Driver event.

Thirty-nine athletes participated in the Push Championship to indicate the popularity of the sport in Nigeria.
