Tornadoes Shopping For Creative Midfielders -Bala

Abubakar Bala Mohammed says the next task is to shop for creative midfielders, as he assured Niger Tornadoes fans that adjustments would be made going into the second phase of the Nigeria Premier Football League season, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
Tornadoes who had gone three home matches without taking maximum 3 points at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, showed signs of promise as they defeated Dakkada on Matchday 9 of the season.
The club had David Okoromi to thank after his 42nd-minute goal saw Tornadoes finish the 1st half of the season in the 5th spot in Group B with 12 points from nine matches, having recorded three wins, three draws and the same number of losses.
Bala stressed, "There is a little improvement in the team in the area of converting chances; that we have been working on, even though a lot still needs to be done. The players were a bit calm in front of the goal against Dakkada, even though many chances were also squandered.
"One area which is quite disturbing is anxiousness in front of the goal, however, we have taken note and will work on that before the league restarts.
However, "We have identified some areas of concern, especially a ball-carrying player that can help the team to transit smoothly between the midfield and attack. You will see improved Tornadoes in the second round."
