BSNSports.com.ng has sourced that Premier League trio of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are all keen on having Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi in their ranks.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are all interested in acquiring the services of the Nigerian combative midfielder.
The 26-year-old has been one of the mainstays of Leicester City over the past few seasons and there is a lot of interest in his services.
Ndidi joined the Foxes back in the winter of 2017 from KRC Genk. Since making the move to England, the 26-year-old has gone from strength to strength. He has been one of the most important players in that team over the years.
Leicester got relegated from the English top flight after the end of last season. While there was a lot of interest in Ndidi’s services during the summer, the Foxes managed to keep him at the club as they look to push for an immediate return to the top flight.
They have started off in fine fashion with 13 wins out of their 15 Championship games and they are currently four points clear at the top of the table. The 26-year-old midfielder has played a big part in it. He has featured in 12 of those matches and has even contributed towards 4 goals.
While everything has been going according to plan, Ndidi’s contract runs out next summer. As a result, the Foxes do not have too many options to play with. They are looking to extend his stay at the club. But, if they fail to get his signatures, they might have to consider cashing in on him in the winter.
It looks unlikely that the 26-year-old will pen down a new deal with the club. As a result, there is a lot of interest in his services. Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are exploring the possibility of signing him in the winter.
All three clubs have been monitoring him for a while now and they would love to have the Nigerian international in their ranks.Â
