Tottenham Step Up Pursuit Of Super Eagles Star Osimhen

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to intensify their pursuit of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen as they seek to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to reports, Spurs have received internal approval to begin formal negotiations for the Super Eagles striker and are confident that agreeing personal terms with the player will not be a major obstacle.

Osimhen, who is currently with Turkish champions Galatasaray, remains one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe following another impressive campaign.

Galatasaray are reportedly holding out for a transfer fee in the region of £65 million, while Tottenham's initial approaches have been valued between £50 million and £55 million.

Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days as Spurs look to bridge the gap in valuation and secure the services of the prolific Nigerian forward before the close of the transfer window.
