New signing Chibuike Nwaiwu is poised to make his highly-anticipated debut for Trabzonspor in Wednesday's Ziraat Turkish Cup match against İstanbulspor, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

As stated by Spor Arena, the Nigerian central defender was signed from Austrian club Wolfsberger with great expectations and is set to shine in the upcoming match against İstanbulspor.

Trabzonspor is fully focused on their preparations for the Ziraat Turkey Cup Group A second-week clash, scheduled to take place away from home.

The team engaged in a rigorous training session, which included a 5-on-2 passing drill followed by tactical exercises lasting approximately one and half hours. 

Reports indicate that Head Coach Fatih Tekke is ready to place Nwaiwu in the starting eleven. The young defender has proven to be physically prepared and received high praise for his training performances.
