Trabzonspor Demand €15m For Paul Onuachu As Galatasaray Pursue Raphael Onyedika

Turkish side Trabzonspor have reportedly placed a €15 million valuation on Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu following growing interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League ahead of the summer transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onuachu has enjoyed an outstanding campaign with Trabzonspor, scoring 22 goals and contributing two assists during his second spell with the club in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Super Eagles forward has emerged as one of the league’s most prolific attackers this season, attracting attention from several clubs across Europe and the Middle East.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli Saudi FC are reportedly among the clubs monitoring the 31-year-old, particularly amid uncertainty surrounding the future of Ivan Toney.

According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor are reluctant to part ways with the striker, who still has two years remaining on his contract. However, the club could consider offers in the region of €15 million — a substantial increase on the €5.7 million fee they paid to secure his permanent transfer.

Reports also suggest the financial package being prepared by Saudi clubs could significantly increase Onuachu’s current salary, making a potential move to the Gulf financially attractive for the Nigerian international.

Meanwhile, reigning Turkish champions Galatasaray SK are intensifying efforts to sign Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika.

Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk is believed to be keen on strengthening his midfield ahead of next season’s UEFA Champions League campaign, with Onyedika identified as a priority target.

The Istanbul club had an offer rejected for the Nigerian midfielder during the January transfer window but are expected to return with a renewed bid this summer.

Onyedika’s contract situation at Club Brugge KV has further fuelled speculation over his future, with reports indicating the 25-year-old has declined extension proposals from the Belgian club.

The midfielder enjoyed another strong season in Belgium, registering three goals and three assists in 40 appearances across all competitions while maintaining his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most dependable midfielders.

Onyedika also impressed for the Super Eagles during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where Nigeria secured a bronze-medal finish.

A move to Galatasaray could see him link up with compatriot Victor Osimhen at club level, potentially forming an all-Nigerian core in the Turkish champions’ squad.

Galatasaray are expected to remain active in the transfer market as they prepare for another domestic title defence and a return to elite European competition next season.
