Following the conclusion of the 2023/2024 South Africa Premier Soccer League season, agent Mike Makaab has clarified the contract situation of Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah with Orlando Pirates, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

While multiple media outlets have reported that Ndah’s contract is expiring in June 2024, Makaab has clarified that the star defender has two years left on his current agreement with the Buccaneers.

Ndah has been at Pirates for three seasons after signing a five-year deal from Nigerian side Akwa United in 2021.

Last year, the 26-year-old centre-back was on the radar of Italian giants Sassuolo. However, the deal couldn’t materialize due to an injury.

Speaking to FARPost, Makaab said: “Olisa Ndah has another two left years to run on the existing contract. It’s not an option that has been taken. The current contract has two years left.”

Ndah has featured 23 times across all competitions.
