Transfer: Balogun Thrilled To Sign Extension With Rangers

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has expressed his excitement following his contract extension with the Scottish side Rangers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The contract extension was made official on Saturday afternoon and the Nigerian International was ecstatic about the development.

“I am very, very happy and privileged to be able to extend my contract at a club like Rangers. 

I have said in the past I wish I could’ve been here sooner in my career because it fuels the fire to succeed all the time", he said.

Despite not playing for weeks, he was still a calming and assured presence at the heart of the defence and one of the most reliable players on the team.
