Championship side Wrexham tabled an offer for Nigerian-eligible goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The youngster spent last season on loan with the team he was able to make his mark in the team.

Team co-owner Rob McElheny confirmed their interest in the goaltender and they are currently working on getting him.

"There is a very good chance.

“We’re talking to Arthur right now, we know he wants to come back to Wrexham and we definitely want him, so it’s about working out the right deal that works out for everyone", he said.
