The coach of the Women's London club, London City Lioness, Jocelyn Precheurs has revealed the reason they signed Super Falcons defender Rofiat Imuran, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

The English club announced the arrival of the Nigerian International through its social media handle.

And she has resumed training with the rest of the squad.

“I have explained in the past that to develop this team we really wanted to focus on two profiles – experienced players who can lead and young players with huge talent and potential,” the Frenchman explained.

“Rofiat fits into the second category. She already has brilliant experience and playing at the Under-20 World Cup was a wonderful opportunity for her to learn more".

"She’s very fast, left-footed, and likes to attack the space behind the defenders".

“Rofiat still needs to develop, but this is a very good opportunity for us to help her improve"

"She can play every position on the left and will contribute offensively this season".
