Transfer: Falconets Striker Joins American Club

The United States League side Carolina Ascent FC has announced the arrival of the Nigeria's Falconets striker Opeyemi Ajakaiye on loan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The lanky attacker, who was part of the Flamingos team at the 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, spent last with another American side, Kansas City.

The coach of the club, Philip Poole, was excited about the signing of the Nigerian International.

 "We are excited to bring Opeyemi on board".

 “We have been pretty active in recruiting young, high-potential players, and she fits that mould. I know, once she adjusts, she will be an impact player for us. She is such a kind and wonderful person, and we are looking forward to the future", the coach said.
