Transfer: Getafe Target Sadiq Umar

Spanish La Liga side Getafe has switched attention to Nigeria's Super Eagles and Real Sociedad forward Sadiq Umar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The lanky Nigerian forward joined Sociedad in the summer of 2022 and started the season on fire before he got injured in the game against Atletico Madrid.

Upon his return, Sadiq has struggled to regain his old form and he has spent most of his time on the bench.

According to the reports from the Spanish news outlet Football Espana, Getafe indicated an interest in Sadiq following the departure of Enes Unal to the English Premier League side Bournemouth during the winter transfer.

Sadiq has only scored 5 goals in 36 matches for Sociedad.
