Transfer: My Contract With Nottingham Forest Is Still Valid-Awoniyi

Nigeria's Super Eagles attacker Taiwo Awoniyi has insisted that is still has a valid contract with the English Premier League club Nottingham Forest, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite having injury worries this season, the Nigerian International is still an integral part of the team and several clubs have shown interest in his service.

Awoniyi was a second-half substitute on Saturday in the 2-3 home defeat to Chelsea in the match day 37 of the league.

While speaking after the game, Awoniyi refused to comment on his future at the club.

" That's a tough one, but I'm still under contract with Nottingham Forest and I'm here.

So for now, I'm a Nottingham Forest player", he said.

Forest must secure a favourable result against Burnley next weekend to be sure of their premier league next season.
