Despite interest from several teams across Europe and the Saudi Pro League, Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers has insisted on staying at the Ibrox Arena, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Genk attacker was one of the top revelations for Rangers last season leading the team into the final of the Scottish Cup.

Latest club to show interest in the Nigerian International is the Greek champions PAOK Salonikas but he has insisted on staying.

"I am very happy here, so I would like to stay,” the 29-year-old said.

“There is some interest, but my intention is to stay and then we will see what happens.”

Dessers scored 22 goals and has 8 assists in all competitions last season.
