Transfer: Ndidi, Iheanacho To Know Fate In April

The duo of Nigeria's Super Eagles stars Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will know their fate with the English Championship side Leicester City by April 2024, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Both Nigeria Internationals are already in the final lap of their contract with the Foxes and discussion is yet to take place about a new deal.

The manager of the team Enzo Maresca late on Thursday confirmed that players who are out of contract will understand the club's situation in the next two months.

 “At this moment the focus is on the final target for this season,” Maresca told Leicester Mercury.

“If the players who are going to finish with us this season are happy to continue together, good. If we or they are not happy, each one is going to take his decision. We will see.

"For now, there is only one focus. Hopefully, we can have a clear situation in one month or two months. 

"Then, when we can see where we are next year, we can make a decision but in this moment, there is only one focus", he said.
