Transfer: Nigerian Star Not Sure Where To Play Next Season

Nigerian-eligible forward Chuba Akpom is not sure where he will play his football next as he's not confident of staying with the Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Akpom joined the former European champions last summer from the English Championship side Middlesbrough but he has been unable to stamp his authority in the team.

Speaking to ESPN, Akpom said he just wants to have fun and continue to enjoy his football.

" I don't know yet what the club want, I just want to have fun and play football, it doesn't matter where.

We have two more games to play and then we will see what happens.

" I cannot predict the future, the most important thing is that I enjoy it, whether I start or have to come from the bench, I do what I have to do", he said . 

Akpom has scored 15 goals and 2 assists in 34 games across all competitions for Ajax this season.
