Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is set to join the array of Nigerian players who played under the famous Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The management of Fenerbahce on Thursday opened the discussion with the Nigerian defender over the contract extension. 

According to the update from Turkey on Friday morning, the hierarchy of the club has agreed to appoint Mourinho as the club's next coach.

The report further stated that Mourinho has agreed a 2-year deal with the team and is expected to steer them into next season's UEFA Champions League.

Celestine Babayaro, John Mikel, Victor Moses, and Obafemi Martins are some of the Nigerian players who have played under the Portuguese gaffer.
