Transfer: Super Falcons Captain Joins NWFL Side

After spending a few months unattached, Nigeria's Super Falcons skipper Onome Ebi has pitched her tent with Nigeria Women Football League side Naija Ratels, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 40-year-old defender started her career on the local scene with Bayelsa Queens before moving to Europe.

After playing in many foreign countries including, Turkey, China, Belarus and Sweden, she departed the Spanish club Levente Las Planas early this year.

Ebi agreed to join the NWFL side after reaching an agreement with the management of the club.

The lanky defender held a record for the most appearances at the FIFA Women's World Cup having attended the competition 6 times.
