Transfer: Why I Joined Stellenbosch - Eyinnaya

The former defender of Rivers United, Kazie Godswill Eyinnaya, has revealed the reason behind his move to the South Africa Premier League side Stellenbosch Football Club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The board of Stellenbosch on Saturday made the official announcement on the arrival of the Nigerian International. Eyinnaya said the steady development of the club is one of the reasons, and he is ready to give his best.

 ” First of all, I want to thank God for bringing me here after a long wait,” Godswill said.

 “I’m very happy to be here and to be part of the Stellenbosch family.

 “It is a great club that has already achieved some great things, like reaching the MTN8 final this season and competing in the CAF Confederation Cup, and I am looking forward to adding to that with my experience.

“I want to contribute positively on the pitch, and I can promise that I will do everything within my reach to ensure that the fans and the coaches are happy", he said.

 Eyinnaya was part of the victorious Rivers United team that won the Nigeria Premier Football League 2 seasons ago.
