Transfer Update: AC Milan Open To Chukwueze Exit

AC Milan director Igli Tare has revealed that Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze could still leave the club before the close of the summer transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chukwueze, who joined Milan from Villarreal two years ago, has struggled to cement a regular place in the starting lineup.

The 26-year-old came close to joining Premier League side Fulham in January and is once again being linked with a move to the London club, as well as a possible return to Spain with Real Betis.

Speaking on the situation, Tare admitted the club is weighing up the best decision for both parties.

 “Chukwueze and Musah could still leave this summer, it is a possibility. We are evaluating the best option for us,” Tare was quoted by Soy Calcio.

Chukwueze played 26 minutes in Milan’s 2-1 defeat to Cremonese on Saturday night.

Since his arrival, he has managed four goals in 51 league appearances for the Rossoneri.
