Transfer Update: Afeez Aremu Signs Contract Extension With St Pauli

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Afeez Aremu has signed a long-term contract extension with the German Bundesliga II side St Pauli, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 23-year-old Nigerian switched from the Norwegian first-division club IK Start Kristiansand to the brown-and-white team in August 2020.

The former Akwa United midfielder also expressed his excitement over the contract extension.

"Hamburg has become our second home for my family and me, so I'm happy to be playing for FC St. Pauli in the years to come. 

I thank the club for their support and trust, which I would like to repay with good performances", he said.
