Transfer Update: Akor Adams Joins Sevilla From Montpellier

Nigerian international Akor Adams has officially completed his transfer from French Ligue 1 side Montpellier to Spanish La Liga club Sevilla, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Adams moved to Montpellier in the summer of 2023 from  Norwegian club Lillestrom.

During his debut season, he became a regular for the French side, featuring in 33 matches across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists.

“Sevilla FC and Montpellier HSC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Akor Jerome Adams until 2029,” the club confirmed in an official statement.

The 23-year-old forward also represented Nigeria's Flying Eagles in two matches at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
