Transfer Update: Al Ahly Targets Nigerian Striker

Ahead of the second-round qualifier of the CAF Champions League, Egyptian giants Al Ahly has switched attention to Nigeria forward John Ebuka Okoye, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ebuka made his professional debut for Novi Pazar in the 2015/16 season of the Serbian SuperLiga.

He signed in the summer of 2016 with Yenicami Ağdelen S.K. in the KTFF Süper Lig and at winter break, his team was the league leader and the Nigerian was the league top scorer with 21 goals.

Ebuka played for Ahli Tripoli in Libya last season and his scoring ability attracted the attention of the African champions who have approached the Libyan club for his services.
