Transfer Update: Alhassan Yusuf Undergoes Medical Ahead Of MLS Move
Sampson Adedeji
The deal to have Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alhassan Yusuf in the Major League Soccer is gradually gathering momentum, BSNSports.çom.ng reports.
New England Revolution earlier in the week approached the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Royal Antwerp for the service of the Nigerian International.
Both parties agreed upon the deal to be 3-years and for £3 million.
The player is presently undergoing his compulsory medical in Europe, after which he's expected to travel to the United States for the official unveiling.
Yusuf will be the second Super Eagles player to join an MLS club in the last month after Chidozie Awaziem joined FC Cincinnati.
