Transfer Update: Another Nigeria Midfielder Set To Join Bayer Leverkusen

After Victor Boniface another Nigeria-eligible player is on the verge of joining the German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Boniface joined the German side a few weeks ago from the Belgian Jupiler league side Union St Gillaloise.

The update coming from Germany indicates that Leverkusen has agreed on a deal to sign Nathan Adewale Tella from the English Championship side Southampton.

Tella played in the Championship on loan with Burnley last season and he was instrumental in their promotion to the Premier League contributing 17 goals in 39 games.

He returned to his parent club at the end of last season and he has appeared in some games for them this season.

Leverkusen has agreed to pay €20 million plus add-ons for a 5-year deal with the player.

Tella is expected to arrive in Germany on Saturday and have his medical before joining the team.
