Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has expressed interest in joining Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, BSNSports.com.ng reports

The Genk forward has caught the attention of Vincent Kompany’s side after an impressive season in the Belgian Pro League, netting 20 goals and providing six assists.

The 24-year-old is open to a potential switch to the German champions and would welcome the chance to serve as a backup to England captain Harry Kane.

“If the opportunity comes, I have to make sure I’m ready,” Arokodare told Het Laatste Nieuws. “You never know how many times the train will pass, so I don’t want to miss any opportunities.”

Asked about being Kane’s understudy, he responded, “Yes, that would be nice, wouldn’t it? It’s still just rumours for now — I haven’t had any contact.”
