Transfer Update: Awaziem Poised for Nantes Comeback

Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem is set to rejoin French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

According L' equipe French club has reportedly reached an agreement with the experienced centre-back, who previously played for Nantes on loan during the 2017/18 season. During that spell, he featured in 22 league matches and scored once.

Awaziem, is making the move from Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids, having had a diverse career across several leagues. 

The Nigerian began his professional journey with Portuguese giants FC Porto and has since had stints with clubs including Çaykur Rizespor, CD Leganés, Boavista, Alanyaspor, and Hajduk Split.

A former El-Kanemi Warriors player, Awaziem has earned 33 caps for the Nigerian national team, scoring one goal.
