Transfer Update: Belgium Champion Shifts Attention To Super Eagles Winger

Belgium Jupiler League champion Royal Antwerp is currently strengthening its team to have a better outing in the UEFA Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Belgian side is currently in talks with the Russian Premier League side CSKA Moscow for the services of Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Bright Ejuke.

Ejuke returned to CSKA Moscow at the end of last season after spending the season on loan with the German Bundesliga side Herta Berlin.

The skilful midfielder can use the war situation in Russia to force a move to another club in Europe.

Ejuke moved to Europe in 2017, playing in Norway for Valenrenga before joining the Dutch Eredivisie side Herrenven.

Before joining the German side on loan, Ejuke played 65 games for CSKA scoring 10 goals.

His move to Belgium will benefit Antwerp if the deal materialised due to his exploits in Europe and the Nigeria national team.
