With just two days remaining in the winter transfer window, Nigerian forward Tolulope Arokodare is on the brink of securing his desired move, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After an impressive season with Belgian side KRC Genk in the Jupiler Pro League, the Portuguese top-tier club SL Benfica has expressed interest in signing him.

Sources confirm that Benfica has made an official offer for Arokodare, who is currently valued at €9 million.

Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor has also put forward an offer for the powerful striker.

Arokodare’s standout season, which has seen him score 16 goals and provide 5 assists, has played a key role in Genk’s strong position in the league.
