Bulgarian League club Botev Plovdiv has revealed the reason they decided to acquire the services of former Nigeria's Super Eagles attacker Anthony Ujah, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ujah departed Eintracht Braunschweig on Wednesday afternoon and the Bulgarian side announced his arrival later in the day.

The club director Arthur Piatek said they signed him because of his wealth of experience.

"We are confident that Anthony will help us with his goals and perform at a top level.

We also know that his experience will be invaluable to us on and off the field

Together with Inevin Popov, he will guide the young players and share his knowledge so they can have a better understanding of the best championship in Europe", he said.
