CHAN Eagles striker and former Remo Stars hitman, Alimi Sikiru, has officially arrived in Algeria as he prepares to finalize his transfer to JS Saoura, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 28-year-old forward, who has enjoyed spells in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) and previously represented the home-based Super Eagles in the African Nations Championship (CHAN), is now set to begin a fresh chapter in North Africa.
Alimi’s arrival has already generated excitement among JS Saoura supporters, who believe his experience and goal-scoring instincts will add significant firepower to the club’s frontline ahead of the new campaign.
The striker, known for his physical presence, aerial strength, and knack for scoring decisive goals, enjoyed a successful stint with Remo Stars before moving abroad.
He also earned national recognition with the CHAN Eagles, where he showcased his quality on the continental stage. With contract talks now at an advanced stage, Alimi is expected to put pen to paper in the coming days and officially join the Algerian side.
Insiders at the club reveal that Saoura sees the Nigerian forward as a key addition in their push for domestic and continental success.
Should the deal be completed, Alimi will join the growing list of Nigerian players making their mark in North African football.
