Transfer Update: Capello Speaks On Lookman’s Future At Atalanta

Former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has stated that Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman will remain a crucial figure for Atalanta if he decides to stay, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman has been pushing for a move away from the club, but Atalanta’s board has so far resisted approving a transfer to his preferred destination.

Speaking to Tutto Napoli, Capello emphasized the Nigerian’s importance to the Serie A side.

 “The Lookman case is an important one,” he said.

“We’re talking about a player who, in recent years, has made a huge impact with goals and assists. If he stays, he will still be decisive for Atalanta. If he leaves, the team will have to rethink a large part of their attacking strength.”
