Transfer Update: Chidozie Awaziem Moves To The United States

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Boavista of Portugal defender Chidozie Awaziem continued with his foreign adventures as he secured a move to play in the Major League Soccer, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

FC Cincinnati on Thursday evening announced the signing of the Nigerian International on a year deal with an option of an extension.

"FC Cincinnati has acquired defender Chidozie Awaziem from Boavista FC of the Portuguese Primeira Liga via transfer, the club announced today. 

The Orange and Blue have signed Awaziem through 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027. 

Awaziem will join the club’s roster and become eligible pending receipt of his P-1 visa", the club said. 

Awaziem made 27 appearances for the Portuguese Primera Liga Club last season.
