Transfer Update: Chippa United Announce Signing Of Nigerian Youngster

South Africa Premier League side Chippa United have announced the capture of Nigeria's young striker Etiosa Ighodaro, BSNsports.com.ng report

Ighodaro joined Mamelodi Sundown in 2019 and injury hampered his progress with the 'Brazilians' before he was loaned to the University Pretoria.

With the league just kicking off, Chippa United considered him as a player that could strengthen the team's attack.

"We are delighted to welcome young exciting centre-forward Etiosa Ighodaro to the club.

"The 21-year-old Nigerian striker will add more firepower to our strike force," the club said.

The club chairman Siviwe Mpengesi considered him a natural goal scorer with good quality to catch the league by fire.

 â€œEtiosa is a natural goal scorer who will soon become a firm favourite with our fans. I’m happy he has chosen to join us, as he had a lot of interest from other clubs."
