Hopes of Nigerian D’Tigers forward Chimezie Metu sealing a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce have collapsed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Negotiations between Metu’s representatives and the club had been ongoing for days, but both parties disagreed on key contract terms.

The deal ultimately broke down on Tuesday afternoon after the club’s board pulled the plug, following Metu’s insistence on a one-year deal with an option for extension.
