Transfer Update: Eintracht Braunschweig Technical Director Reveals Why Ujah Gets Contract Extension

The technical director of the German Bundesliga II side Eintracht Braunschweig, Peter Vollman, has revealed the reason why Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah has a contract extension, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club on Thursday announced a 2-year deal extension for the utility forward who joined the club last summer from the Bundesliga side Union Berlin.

Vollman said Ujah's commitment is key for the club and also referred to him as a leader.

“The commitment has turned out to be a win-win situation for both sides. 

We are very happy that Tony is staying with us for another year because he is an absolute leader, feels very comfortable with us and is a very important part of our team in terms of sport and personality," Vollman said.

Ujah scored 10 goals last season for Braunschweig.
