German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have entered negotiations to sign Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Belgian champions Club Brugge, reports indicate, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 24-year-old, who has been a key figure in Brugge’s midfield since joining from FC Midtjylland in 2022, is now on Frankfurt’s radar as the club looks to strengthen its squad before the close of the transfer window.

According to sources close to the deal, discussions between both clubs are ongoing, with a loan move that includes an obligation to buy among the proposals on the table.

However, the structure of the agreement remains a sticking point, making the deal complicated at this stage.

A fresh round of negotiations is expected to take place after Frankfurt’s Bundesliga clash against Hoffenheim, as the German club continues to push for an agreement.
