Blackburn Rovers have completed their transfer deadline day business with a loan acquisition of Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 27-year-old forward becomes the club’s third signing of the day, following Yuri Ribeiro from Braga and Cauley Woodrow from Luton Town.

A proven goal scorer, Dennis began his senior career with Ukrainian club Zorya Luhansk, scoring on his debut in a 3-0 win in July 2016.

He moved to England in June 2021 when Watford signed him, and he went on to score 10 Premier League goals in 30 appearances, including a debut goal in a 3-2 victory over Aston Villa.

Dennis’s impressive performances at Watford led to a £20m move to Nottingham Forest in August 2022.

Now, Dennis will be looking to regain his goal-scoring form with Blackburn Rovers.
