Espérance Sportive de Tunis has confirmed the contract extension of Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu, securing his services for two more seasons, BSNSports.com.ng reports
The 22-year-old has become a pivotal figure in Espérance's midfield, earning praise for his consistent and impressive performances throughout the season.
Ogbelu joined the Tunisian giants in September 2023 from Nigeria’s Fosla Academy. Since then, he has made 53 appearances, helping the club win two Tunisian league titles, the Tunisian Cup, and the Super Cup.
His standout moment came in the Tunisian Cup final, where he netted the winning goal.
Originally signed through the summer of 2026, Ogbelu's new deal will keep him at the club until June 30, 2028, further cementing his role in the team’s future.
