Transfer Update: Esperance Move For Nigerian Forward Peter Agba

Tunisian giants Esperance have made an official approach for Nigerian striker Peter Agba ahead of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 22-year-old plays for Slovenian champions NK Olimpija Ljubljana, where his impressive displays have attracted interest from several European clubs.

However, Esperance appear to be leading the chase for his signature.

The Tunisian club’s board has opened talks with Olimpija as they look to secure the services of the promising forward.

Agba rose to prominence with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, playing a key role in their WAFU U-17 triumph in Niger Republic in 2019, where they defeated Ghana’s Black Starlets on penalties to qualify for the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

He featured at the 2019 U-17 AFCON in Tanzania, where Nigeria finished fourth, and was also part of the squad at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil, helping the Eaglets top their group before bowing out to the Netherlands in the Round of 16.
