Transfer Update: Everton Enters Race For Onuachu

Barely 15 hours to the end of the 2023 winter transfer window, the English Premier League side Everton FC has entered the race for Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu, BSNSports.com.ng report.

Nigeria International appeared to have regained the form that endeared him to the major European clubs in the past as he has scored 17 goals this season.

The Toffees confirmed the appointment of Sean Dyche on Monday as their new first-team manager after the sacking of Frank Lampard early last week. 

The Blues are yet to make a signing in the transfer window, but thanks to the sale of Anthony Gordon, they could finally make one on deadline day.

They are in discussions with FC Genk over a potential move for Onuachu and are talking to the player's representatives.

Southampton and German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are also in the race to sign the lanky forward.
