Transfer Update: Former Akwa United Forward Set To Join Tunisian Side

After having a short stint in Europe, former Akwa United forward Charles Atshimene is set to join the Tunisia Ligue 1 club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Atshimene played for the 'Promise Keepers in the 2020/2021 season of the Nigeria Premier Football League before moving to Portugal.

While in Portugal the hardworking attacker played for CD Feirense and Leixoes and he was able to contribute his quotas to the team.

The update coming from Tunisia has it that US Ben Guerden has agreed to sign Atshimene and is expected to arrive in the North African country this weekend.

While with Akwa United, Atshimene scored 19 goals in 27 matches.
