Transfer Update: Former Flying Eagles Star Set For Belgium Switch

Former Nigeria's Flying Eagles forward, Chibukwuikem Ikwuemesi, is on the verge of joining a Belgian club, Oud Heverlee Leuven, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The lanky attacker joined Italian Serie A side Salernitana last summer but was unable to tie down a regular shirt in the team.

According to the update, the Belgian club has agreed on a fee of €1.8 m + 10% sell-on what is remaining is for clubs to exchange documents to complete the move. 

The deal is expected to be 3 years and the player is expected to undergo medical in Belgium on Monday.
