Transfer Update: Former Flying Eagles Star Set To Join Sevilla

Spanish La Liga club Sevilla is poised to complete a transfer for Nigerian international Akor Adams before the close of the 2025 winter transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Akor made the move to French Ligue 1 side Montpellier last summer from Norwegian club Lillestrom SK.

However, his impressive performances have caught the attention of several top European clubs.

Sevilla, former UEFA Europa League champions, have tabled a €5.5 million bid for the Nigerian forward.

Reports suggest that Montpellier's board has accepted the offer, and Akor could be heading to Spain before the window closes.

If the deal goes through, Akor will link up with fellow Super Eagles players Kelechi Iheanacho and Bright Ejuke, who are already part of the team.
