Nigerian midfielder and former Golden Eaglets captain, Samson Tijani, is determined to get his career back on track following his move to Czech First League side Dukla Prague, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tijani joined the club as a free agent after completing his medicals and was officially unveiled by the Czech outfit this week.

Speaking after the unveiling, the 23-year-old expressed his desire to focus on personal growth and consistent performance.

“This move to Dukla is a crucial step for me,” Tijani said.

“At this stage of my career, my priority is to grow, develop, and continually showcase my abilities.”

Tijani began his European journey in 2020 when he signed with Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg from Collins Edwin Sports Academy in Nigeria.

However, he struggled for regular playing time, featuring in just three league matches during his five-year stint.

Now with Dukla Prague, Tijani is hopeful of a fresh start and the opportunity to fulfil the potential he showed as a youth international.
